Today we have visited both the Pyramids and the Sphinx, both of which were amazing. It's hard to believe that they are more than 4,500 years old. It's hard to imagine 100,000 men working day and night for three months before changing shift and the next 100,000 taking over for the next three months.
After visiting them we moved on to the stepped pyramid which led to the shape of the Giza Pyramids.
We followed this with a very nice Egyptian lunch and a visit to a carpet 'factory' where children from the age if 10 work from 8am to noon and then they go on to school for the afternoon.
Back at the hotel now with John enjoying a sauna, steam and jacuzzi. Unfortunately the ladies jacuzzi isn't working so here I sit all alone :-)
